We, Scalzilli Althaus Spohr Advogados (“Scalzilli Althaus”, “The Company” or “We”), a legally constituted company, registered under CNPJ/ME No. 02.736.067/0001-14, registered with the Brazilian Bar Association, Porto Alegre Section, under No. 634, based in the city of Porto Alegre, RS, at 110, Rua Carlos Huber, provide our clients and the general public excellent legal services, that focus on results and relationships. Why does Scalzilli Althaus retain personal data?

2. What type of personal data does Scalzilli Althaus handle?

The type of Personal data and the way in which the Company records it, depends on your relationship to the Company and the reason for it. For example, we will record different Personal data if you are one of the public highway users we manage, compared to if you are a user of our website.

Contact Emails (direct) This is how users can contact the company for more information about our work or book a meeting to discuss matters or costs. Emails and other information provided by users in their messages.

4. Who Does Scalzilli Althaus Share Your Personal data With?

We work with a number of other organizations which are necessary for us to function. Therefore, we may share some of the information of our users anonymously, within the law or where required by it. Here are some of the situations in which we might share Personal data:

The Association of Law Practices of Rio Grande do Sul – a partner who may be sent the registered details of users who are interested in applying to the company for both administrative and associate lawyer positions.

5. What are your rights as a holder of personal data?

Your Personal Data is yours and Brazilian law ensures that you have a set of rights regarding it. We are committed to complying with these rights and, in this section, we will explain what these rights are and how you can exercise them. See Below:

Portability You may ask that the Company provides your personal data in a format that is structured and compatible, so that it may be sent to a third party, provided that such a transfer does not violate the Company’s intellectual property rights or business confidentiality.

Information on the option not to consent You have the right to receive clear and complete information on the option to not give your consent when asked for by the Company and its consequences Your consent, where required, must be freely given and informed. However, whenever we ask for your consent, you are free to refuse – in this case, we may be unable to provide you with certain services.
Revoking consent Where you have consented for some reason to the use of your Personal data, you can always choose to take back your agreement. However, this will not affect the legality of any data handling that took place prior to consent being
revoked. Should you take back your consent, we may no longer be able to provide certain services, but we will advise you of this, if it happens.
Opposing Use The law allows us to handle Personal data, even without your consent or a contract with us. In these situations, we will only handle your personal data if we have a legitimate reason to do so; for example, when we need to ensure the

The Company has a Personal data retention policy that is in accordance with the relevant legislation. We always carry out a technical analysis to determine the appropriate length of time to retain each type of Personal data collected, based on its nature, the reason it was recorded and the purpose for which it will be handled, as well as any need to retain it to satisfy any requirement or protect any rights.
